Force Shutdown

In Windows, there are times when you cannot shut down or restart your computer, because of a faulty application or virus, even if you are using Windows Task Manager to shut down the frozen application. In this situation, you may need to reset the PC using the reset or power button, which is not healthy for the mother board and CPU.

But when using the Force Shutdown application, things change. That's because Force Shutdown allows you to shut down or restart your computer in a forced way, so no matter what applications are stopping you from restarting your PC, Force Shutdown will manage to do it.

After installing the application using its simple installer and running it, the user will notice the system tray icon added by the program. Right clicking on this icon will bring up a simple menu, from which the user can access power options, like restart, shut down or hibernate. Besides that, using the same menu, the user can access the Settings area of Force Shutdown, which allows configuring the program to start together with Windows and also to hide or show the system tray icon.

What's more, hot keys can be defined for each program action. For example, the user can set a key combination for shutting down the computer or for restarting it, thus saving a lot of time when needing to perform a power option.
